What Kevin Sees in His Terrell Owens Photo

Kevin, A nephew of a good friend, framed his autographed Terrell Owens photo and hung it over his desk between his Dallas Cowboys pennant and his own high school football team schedule.  Football is Kevin's passion and Terrell Owens is his hero. 

At fifteen and a freshman Kevin is currently playing wide receiver for his Junior Varsity team, and his team is having a good year.  He's hoping for an early invitation to join his school's varsity team next year, and has focused his considerable energies towards that goal.

The interesting thing about Kevin's Terrell Owens photo is that it doesn't show T.O. on the football field or even posed making one of his very photogenic high-reaching pass receptions.  The photo of Terrell Owens shows him in a gym working out.

Kevin's father (my brother) has followed Terrell Owens NFL career for years, and has encouraged Kevin to adopt T.O. as a role model not only in his dream to follow the famous #81 wide receiver into professional football, but as a model for what makes a successful athlete. 

As a consequence, Kevin has adopted a well thought out workout schedule and healthy diet plan that is helping him become the best all around athlete he can be.  He plans to be on the track and cross country team in the spring and will be attending a summer swimming camp with his brothers this year.

Even Kevin's mother agrees that his Terrell Owens Photo has been an inspiration for the whole family as they've all become more aware general fitness and the importance of a healthy diet.
